About Us

Me and my Family

Hi, my name is Samantha but everyone calls me Sam. I am happily married to Stewart who I have been with over 10 years. We have 2 girls Rebecca and Rachel and they are both in primary school. Within our family we have a 3 year old Patterdale Terrier named Jessie, 2 cats we adopted, they are about 3 years old and are called Domino and Felix.  
I have worked in a crèche and done lots of volunteer work in play groups and toddler groups as my girls were growing up, then later helping in the schools. The girls are my main reason for becoming a childminder as I found working full time and looking after the family hard and felt like I was missing out on family time. As the girls were growing up, I went back to college and took some courses in childcare as I always knew I enjoyed working and being around children and new there would come a time when I would find employment.

NVQ level 2 Creche Assistant
NVQ level 2 Teaching Assistant
Basic Food Hygiene
Baby massage course
Emergency First Aid for Babies and Children
Handling children’s behaviour
I will be doing other training courses when they come up to keep my training and knowledge up to date.
